Prepare marinade with 1/2 cup thick curd, 1/2 cup milk cream, 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp chaat masala powder,2 tsp green chilli paste,1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp kasoori methi,salt as per taste,apply this to chicken, cover and marinate it for an hour
  2. Take a skewers, grease it well with oil and put chicken pieces to it one by one, in a pan heat 2 tablespoon of oil and gently place chicken skewers over it and fry chicken on moderate heat both sides first and then cover it with lid and cook chicken for 10 min on medium heat or until done. Meanwhile heat the coal other side, if coal is not available u can use coconut shell too.
  3. Once chicken is cooked well hold the skewers on direct flame it will give nice coat of brown colour spots on chicken and flavour will come out very well,
  4. Next step is, take a heated coal in small plate, place it on pan and on top of it place the chicken skewers as shown in pic, put little ghee/oil on coal it will start releasing smoke, immediately put the lid of the pan and leave it 5 min, it will give nice smokey flavor to out tikka.
  5. Once done transfer it on a plate, brush some melted butter, sprinkle some chaat masala, squeeze some lemon juice and garnish it with finely chopped coriander. Serve it with some pudina chutney or raita
