Steps to make Coconut chicken:
- Wash and marinate chicken with curd,lemon juice,ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and salt.
- Keep aside for an hour.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add cinnamon,star anise,cloves,black pepper to crackle.
- Add chopped onion and saute till transparent.
- Add marinated chicken and fry in a low flame.
- Make a paste of coconut milk and poppy seeds and add in the chicken
- Add green chilli and half cup of water.
- Cover it and cook in alow flame till chicken pieces done or at least 10 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
Toss coconut with oil in a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, whisk eggs until well beaten. In a medium bowl, season chicken with ½ teaspoon salt and toss to coat evenly with flour.
