- Prepare 250 gms chicken pieces
- Take 1/4 cup fresh coconut grated

Take a vessel, heat oil and add ginger-garlic paste and saute. Then add the ground masala and water to make a gravy. Add turmeric and chicken pieces, and salt to taste. Pour in the coconut milk and bring to boil on medium heat.

- Marinate chicken- wash chicken and in a bowl put little dahi, ginger garlic paste, chicken masala powder and keep it fridge for atleast 15 to 20 mins.
- In a Cooker put oil and grated onions and stir for few mins then put, whole garam masala(cloves, tezpatta,big and small elachi, dalchni) little red chilli powder and tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, green chillies and stir,fry till, tomatoes are cooked,then put marinated chicken pieces in it and then put fresh grated coconut and salt as per requirement and stir for a while and put little water, cover the cooker.
- At last put butter and coriander leaves over it and serve hot with steam rice, yummy it taste
Add the chicken peaces, bring to boil again then simmer until the chicken well cooked and the coconut milk becomes thick. It didn't sound too weird or bizarre to me, so I made chicken in unroasted coconut gravy. The aroma of this curry definitely made me feel it's fish curry, as I tasted I realized it's chicken curry. Add the butter and sear the chicken fillets on both sides. Remove from the pan and turn down the heat.
