Instructions to make Mangalorean chicken curry:
- Heat some ghee in the pan
- Add red chilli, coconut, coriander seeds, saunf, methi seeds and fry it for sometime
- Switch of the flame and grind it on the mixer with little water and make a thick paste
- Heat some ghee in an another pan
- Add mustard seeds, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and onions and fry from three to four minutes
- Add chicken to it then sprinkle turmeric powder and salt
- Keep cooking till chicken is half cooked and then add the paste
- Add water and cook the chicken for 10 to 15 minutes
- Check for salt and serve it with steamed rice
