Instructions to make Lauki chicken curry:
  1. Remove peel of bottle gourd and cut into pieces. Heat oil in a pan, add black cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves, elachi, cinnamon stick and saute it. Add onions, little salt and saute it, later add chickpea flour and saute it.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and saute it. Add bottle gourd pieces and saute it.
  3. Now add chicken, yoghurt, dry coconut powder, green chillies, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, little water and mix it nicely. - Place lid and cook it with lid on it until bottle gourd piece and chicken pieces are cooked.
  4. Atlast add garam masala and coriander leaves, mix it. Check for seasoning and switch off flame. Now the bottle gourd chicken curry is ready to serve.
