This is the vegetarian version of popular Chettinad biryani made with mushrooms. Mushroom Biryani Recipe is a simple, tasty and flavorful one pot biryani with the touch of restaurant style made in Instant pot pressure cooker.
Steps to make Mushroom briyani:
- Cut the mushroom and soak it for 5-10 min in hot water with turmeric powder and salt
- Wash it thoroughly with chill water
- Heat the pressure cooker add oil, pattai, kirambu, cardmom, mint leaves and green chilli, mushrooms to it and fry for 5-7 min
- Next add ginger garlic onion paste, chilli powder, briyani powder, coriander powder, chicken masala powder and tomato to i and fry it till the oil comes out
- Now add water and coconut milk, salt, lemon juice to it and leave it to boiling point
- Now add rice to it and leave it till the boiling point
- Now close the cooker with lid and whistle leave it for 2 whistles and switch off the stove
- Serve it with raita………yummy!!!!!!!
