  12. Take 3 Tomatoes
  13. Prepare 6-7 Dried plums (Aloo Bukhara)
  14. Take 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  15. Get 1 tbsp Desiccated coconut Mint –
  16. Get 5 to 6 Almonds (crushed)
  17. Get 1/4 bunch few leaves Fresh coriander
  18. Make ready 5-6 Green chili
  19. Make ready 3-4 Potatoes
  20. Prepare 1 tbsp Whole spices
  21. Take 1 tsp Kewra water
  22. Get 1 pinch Yellow food colour

I have adapted this recipe from "Desi Murgh" cookbook by Sanjeev Kapoor. Bombay Style Biryani is loaded with the flavors of spices and also give heavy feeling. For Biryani Masala: In spice mill,add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick,black cardamom,black pepper corns,green cardamom,cloves,nutmeg,staranise,black cumin and mace, grind to make a coarse powder. In grinded powder,add salt,cloves,black cardamom,black pepper corns,cumin seeds,dried plums,turmeric powder,cinnamon stick,green cardamom,bay leaf,red.

Instructions to make Chicken Bombay Biryani 😍:
  1. In a pan, heat up oil, add onions and fry until golden brown.Then add tomatoes fry for 2-3 minutes.. - Then add chicken,potatoes,ginger garlic paste, fry for 1 minute, then add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder,aloo Bukhara, jaiful javitri, Garam masala powder, chat masala, almond and coconut paste and yoghurt. Mix and fry well.
  2. Then add 1/4 cup of water, cover and let it cook until chicken is tender.
  3. Then add mint, fresh coriander, green chilli and mix.
  4. Serve with salad and raita.
  5. In separate pan take 12 glasses of water, 3 tbsp of salt, Whole spices and boil the rice until 3/4 done. - Now take a separate pan, add 1/4 cup of water and a 1/4 cup of oil.
  6. Then spread 1/2 boiled rice, then put chicken, then remaining rice, and on top, add kewra water, fried onion, pinch of Garam masala powder yellow food colour, 2 tbsp of oil and cover and leave on dum for 15 minutes.
